Overview

Created visual assets for an illustrated trailer for Legends of Learning during my time at we.R.play. The project focused on developing a narrative-driven introduction, centered around a character being recruited into the platform’s world.

Challenge

The goal was to translate a narrative brief into a visually engaging introduction, establishing tone, character, and story through a short animated sequence.

Approach

The process began with developing multiple storyboard thumbnails for each scene, exploring compositions that could clearly communicate narrative beats and pacing.

Selected directions were refined into sketches using Photoshop and Procreate, followed by final line art in Illustrator. The approach focused on clarity, visual rhythm, and consistency to support storytelling and animation.

Visual System

Worked from approved storyboards and compositions to develop final line art and background illustrations. The visual system supported a storyboard-driven animation pipeline, ensuring consistency across scenes while enabling efficient development of characters and environments.

Outcome
