I worked on this project during my time at we.R.play, a game development studio based in Islamabad, Pakistan.
The idea was to create an illustrated, story-based trailer for Legends of Learning, a marketplace for research driven, curriculum-based games that teachers can use to make classrooms productive and fun. The trailer was illustration-based with a voice-over and subtle parallax animations.
My Role
I worked on conceptualising the storyboard based on the guidelines and content provided by the Art Director, content writers, and other stakeholders. This included creating multiple thumbnails for every scene, each with a unique composition.
Once the thumbnails were finalised, I worked on sketching out the final scenes on Adobe Photoshop and Procreate, and switched to Adobe Illustrator for the final line art.
PROJECT TYPE:
Storyboard, Illustration
ROLE:
2D Artist
I created multiple thumbnails for each scene, based on the story provided. The best compositions were shortlisted for the final line art.
Starting Out with Multiple Options
Once the compositions were finalised, we moved forward to the sketching phase. I created sketches in Photoshop. These were to be used as a base for the final line art in Illustrator.

Line Art for Legends of Learning
The final line art was shared with another digital artist for colouring. Below is a sample of what the final work looked like.
